The pandemic has had some impact on urbanization as work from home (WFH) became the primary mode of working for many. Together with other factors such as quality of life and cost, this has resulted a segment of the population moving out of urban areas. While the pandemic may have resulted in a slowdown in urbanization, this is not expected to significantly alter the long term trend. Nonetheless, this is something to keep an eye on.
